Monument company visitors are in a unique emotional state. They're often recently bereaved, making decisions they've never made before, about products they don't fully understand. The website needs to educate without overwhelming, guide without rushing.

Unlike most service businesses, the "sale" here isn't about convincing — it's about helping someone make a meaningful choice during a difficult time. The website's job is to reduce anxiety, not create urgency.

Competitor Analysis

We analyzed monument company websites across the country — from small family operations to large regional companies. What we found:

• • Most sites are outdated, with stock photos that feel impersonal
• • Product galleries are often confusing — no context for sizes, materials, or pricing ranges
• • The best sites excel at educational content — explaining granite types, the design process, cemetery regulations
• • Almost none have modern performance — slow loads, no mobile optimization
