Our Story
Jr. Jays Academy was founded in 2019 by Jillian Sykes, a childcare professional with more than two decades of experience nurturing young minds. What began as a vision to create a truly individualized learning environment has grown into an award-winning, 4-Star rated early education center.
At Jr. Jays, we believe every child is unique. That is why our curriculum is custom-curated and individualized for each student — not a one-size-fits-all approach. From weekly sensory experiences to daily outdoor activities, music, art, and STEM, children here learn through exploration and hands-on engagement.

Our Programs
From infants to school-age children, Jr. Jays Academy provides age-appropriate care, custom curriculum, and enriching activities tailored to each child’s development.
Ages 0–11 months
Nurturing, attentive care in a safe and stimulating environment. Gentle routines, tummy time, sensory exploration, and the warmth your baby needs to thrive.
Ages 12–23 months
Encouraging first steps, first words, and first friendships. Hands-on sensory play, music, movement, and individualized curriculum for growing explorers.
Ages 2–4 years
Custom-curated curriculum preparing children for school success. STEM activities, art projects, early literacy, and daily outdoor exploration build confident learners.
Pre-K through 6th Grade
A safe, structured environment before and after school. Homework help, one-on-one tutoring, creative activities, and supervised play in a caring setting.
Willow Creek & Golden Age Schools
We provide transportation to and from Willow Creek and Golden Age schools — making drop-off and pick-up seamless for working parents.
Included Daily

Jr. Jays Academy provides transportation to and from Willow Creek and Golden Age schools. Drop your child off in the morning, and we handle the rest — getting them to school on time and bringing them back to us for safe, supervised after-school care.
