Child Care & Preschool · Buda, TX
“Low student-to-teacher ratios to ensure every child receives positive individual attention and hands-on experiences.”
Infants · Toddlers · Preschool · Pre-K — Ages 6 Weeks to 5 Years
Our Philosophy
Founded in 2009, Brookeside Learning Center began as a home daycare rooted in one simple belief: children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and free to explore. Since becoming a licensed center in 2017, Director Brooke Barnard and Assistant Director Chelsea Stone have grown that vision into a nurturing environment for up to 48 children — ages 6 weeks through 5 years.
Low student-to-teacher ratios mean every child is seen, heard, and supported in their unique development.
Weekly themed curriculum brings learning to life through messy play, creative projects, and real-world exploration.
Positive, ongoing parent-teacher communication keeps you connected to your child’s day and growth milestones.
Programs by Age
Age-appropriate programs from 6 weeks through age 5 — each designed around how children naturally learn.
Gentle, responsive care in a warm environment. Your baby receives individual attention, safe sensory exploration, and consistent routines that build trust and security.
Curiosity-driven days filled with messy play, music, movement, and early social skills. Toddlers explore freely in a safe space designed to match their boundless energy.
Weekly themed curriculum builds kindergarten readiness through hands-on projects, early literacy, numbers, and creative expression — all woven into joyful, play-based learning.
The Brookeside Difference
At Brookeside, children don’t just attend care — they explore nature, tend gardens, meet animals, and learn in small groups where they truly belong.
Outdoor activities and nature walks are woven into every week. Children discover the world around them — collecting leaves, watching insects, feeling the seasons change — building curiosity that lasts a lifetime.
Children learn responsibility and empathy through hands-on experiences with animals. Caring for living creatures teaches gentle handling, compassion, and respect for all living things.
Little hands dig in real soil. Children plant seeds, watch them grow, and learn where food comes from. Gardening builds patience, observation skills, and a connection to the natural world.
With a licensed capacity of 48 children and low student-to-teacher ratios, your child isn’t lost in the crowd. Every child receives the personal, positive attention they deserve to grow and thrive.
